BRP-Rotax is excited to announce that the Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) has been nominated as authorized distributor for the Kingdom of Bahrain with immediate effect. BIC has already been a long-time promoter of Rotax Karting products and the Rotax MAX Challenge as a successful Rotax Service Center under the governance of Al Ain Raceway, the authorized Rotax distributor for the region so far.

To further strengthen our Rotax Karting activities in the region, BRP-Rotax mutually agreed with Al Ain Raceway to establish BIC as the authorized distributor for the territory of Bahrain. I would like to express a very warm welcome and wish our new partner BIC lots of success. At the same time, I would send a big thank you to Al Ain Raceway for developing Rotax Karting in Bahrain in the past years and for their ongoing great sup-port in their other territories.

BIC intensified their commitment to Rotax by also becoming the host for the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals in December 2021, where preparations are already under full speed.

Al-Ain Raceway remains the responsible authorized distributor for the territories of Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi-Arabia and United Arab Emirates. All parties involved aim to make the transition as smooth as possible and to ensure customer support and continued supply of engines and spare parts also in this period.

Located in the heart of the Sakhir desert, Bahrain International Circuit is a unique and contemporary facility that is synonymous with the highest levels of global motorsport. In addition to being the first circuit in the region to host a Formula 1 Grand Prix in 2004, BIC continues to host staggering crowds and a wide range of events and activities, and serves as a platform that encourages motorsports in the country.
The karting circuit opened in 2011 and later became the first karting track worldwide to host a world cham-pionship-level event at night. It continues to host a number of local and international championships, as a leading venue in the region for grassroots motorsport.

Al Ain Raceway is the Rotax authorized karting distributor for the territories of Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates. Responsible for organizing and hosting national and regional RMC events, Al Ain Raceway owns and operates a purpose-built international karting facility in the eastern region of Abu Dhabi. The circuit stands out as the only internationally homologated track in the United Arab Emirates and has hosted the Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals on two occasions. With its esteemed partners Al Ain Raceway is committed to continuing to establish, support and develop grassroots motorsport across the GCC region.
