Rotax kart engines are distributed to over 60 countries around the world. The network has more than 50 distributors and over 600 service centers and dealers representing Rotax Karting. We aim for the highest-quality kart engines with the lowest difference in performance between the engines. As part of these efforts, we're constantly developing our distribution network to ensure customers get the best service possible. This is why we have introduced the Rotax Certification Program, RCP, for short.
A dedicated, hands-on training course designed to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed to hone Rotax MAX cylinders correctly and consistently.
Combining theoretical instruction with practical workshop exercises, the course covers machine setup and maintenance, tooling and stone selection, cylinder measurement and assessment, honing technique, cleaning, and final inspection.
Particular attention is given to the transition to the new plasma-coated cylinder surface, helping participants understand the differences and adapt their servicing methods to achieve consistent surface quality and performance.
Conditions - Participants must have completed RCP Advanced before attending this specialist course.
