The Rotax TRAX app is available for iOS & Android. The TRAX device can be purchased through our Rotax Fanshop (EU/EEA only) and at local Rotax dealers (ask for product #259800) . Please contact them directly regarding availability and pricing. Depending on your region, the TRAX device might be available at one of our distributing partners' online shops:

The Rotax TRAX app is available to all users, but accessing its data analytics features requires the purchase of the physical TRAX device, which can be obtained from local Rotax dealers. The TRAX device cannot be used on its own, as it requires the app for full functionality, including displaying and analyzing the recorded data.

The TRAX device is a small box equipped with sensors. When attached to your kart, the TRAX device collects data such as lap times and various vehicle-specific metrics, which are then transmitted to the TRAX app in real-time after each stint. As the TRAX device is equipped with a SIM card, no additional network connection is required.

The TRAX system consists of the TRAX app and a physical tracking device.
The free version of the Rotax TRAX app offers basic features like recording lap times and distance, and viewing other users’ stats. For a monthly or yearly subscription fee, the pro version (paid) of the TRAX app unlocks additional features like detailed metric analysis and comparison tools. We also offer free trial periods of the pro features.
To use the key features of the app, the additional physical TRAX device is required. Please inquire and purchase the TRAX device from your local Rotax dealer.

Rotax TRAX supports most outdoor kart racing tracks that provide sufficient GPS and cellular service signals. Regarding the sale of the TRAX products, there may be certaintain regional restrictions – please inquire with your local Rotax dealer.

You can use Rotax TRAX with every kart, but it requires a 12V power supply to work. If your kart is not equipped with a starter battery we suggest using a lightweight 12V battery to power the Rotax TRAX device on your kart.
