Rotax Racing Club Austria joins the global Rotax Family
The Rotax Racing Club family continues to grow: Rotax Racing Club Austria is set to become the newest Arrive-and-Drive destination under the Rotax banner, and the first karts have already arrived at Speedworld Bruck an der Leitha.
Following months of preparation, the final track tests are currently underway to optimize the pack-age for Speedworld. Gear ratios, tyre selection and overall performance are being fine-tuned, while test drivers have already praised the excellent handling and the pure driving enjoyment of the new fleet.
Identical equipment, maximum racing fun
All competitors will race on Birel ART chassis powered by the proven Rotax Junior MAX engine. As with every Rotax Racing Club, the focus remains firmly on the Arrive-and-Drive concept: identical karts, equal conditions and close racing for everyone.

2026 season: Test Days and Austrian Final
The official launch will begin with several test days, giving drivers the opportunity to experience the Rotax Racing Club concept and prepare for the first event. Dates will be published in the official calendar.
RRC Austrian Final 2026 will take place on October 10, 2026 at Speedworld. Further information regarding classes, sporting regulations and qualification details will be announced soon.
In addition, groups, clubs and companies can book tailor-made Arrive-and-Drive events.

Looking ahead to 2027
The 2026 season will serve as the foundation for the future development of the project. All data and experience gathered during the test programme and the Austrian Final will be used to create a comprehensive 2027 championship programme.
From 2027 onwards, drivers will also have the opportunity to qualify for the international Rotax Racing Club Final.
Strong experience behind the project
Rotax Racing Club Austria is led by two well-known figures in Austrian karting:
- Harald Egger – owner and operator of Speedworld
- Michael Fiedler – multiple Austrian Karting Champion and an experienced Rotax driver coach for many years
Together they bring decades of karting expertise to Rotax Racing Club Austria and continue a suc-cessful partnership that has already produced projects such as the Speedworld Academy and the Rotax MAX Euro Final for Micro and Mini drivers.
