Rotax Danish E-Kart Championship
Ikast, Denmark is set to witness a new era of motorsport in August, when the Rotax E20 E-Kart Championship is taking place. From August 11-13, 2023 the Danish E-Kart Championship will electrify the track at Ikast with fierce competitions in the Rotax E20 Senior, E20 Senior Master, and E20 Junior categories.
The Danish E-Kart Championship takes place next at the Midtjysk kart track, Ikast, which is known for being quite challenging due to its technical layout. This will definitely be the perfect stage for competitors to demonstrate their talent, skills and determination in a new arena of electric karting. With the awesome Boost button feature, racing demands a strategic game plan to know when to use the extra thrust of power at the ideal time.
The Rotax Danish E-Kart Championship will include three categories, each with its own rewards:
- E20 Senior and E20 Senior Masters winners will be awarded with a ticket to the RMC Grand Finals 2023 in Bahrain this December
- E20 Junior winners will be awarded with a EUR 5000,- Rotax Voucher
The Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals is the highlight of the Rotax karting season that brings the top Rotax drivers together from around the world, offering an incredible opportunity for each one to represent their own country and compete at the highest level in their class.
An integral part of the Rotax E-Karting races is the “Arrive & Drive” concept, which promotes accessibility and inclusivity in the sport, as it allows drivers to participate in the various championships without needing to own a kart. The Arrive & Drive concept provides an equal chance for both experienced drivers and newcomers to showcase their skills and new-found passion for electric karting.
