The first edition of the Swedish Rotax E10 Mini Series featured at the GellerĂ¥sen Arena during the legendary Kanonloppet (Canon Race) over the weekend of August 13-15, 2026, marking the historic launch of the highly-anticipated E-Kart category. This is the beginning of the new electric racing era taking off in Sweden with the Rotax E-powertrain designed for competitors aged 10 to 13 years. The Rotax E20 Junior and E20 Senior classes had previously appeared on the national race calendar for the Swedish E-kart Championship prior to this as well.

The second round of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy unfolded at the Prokart Raceland Wackersdorf with 208 verified drivers across all five categories, once again confirming the strong appeal of the series. The Senior MAX category stood out as the largest, with 90 drivers, underlining its position as the benchmark class of the championship.Â

The 2026 Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy officially got underway at the Cremona Circuit, hosting the opening round of the championship. With 227 verified drivers competing across the five Rotax categories - Mini MAX, Junior MAX, Senior MAX, DD2 and DD2 Masters - the event confirmed the strong appeal of the series and set the tone for the four-round European season.
The Italian venue once again delivered a demanding challenge for drivers and teams, with changing track conditions throughout the weekend playing a key role in shaping the results. Dry running dominated the early stages, while intermittent rain during the heats and Finals introduced an additional strategic factor, rewarding those able to adapt quickly.

Following the market introduction of the Rotax E10, BRP-Rotax is bringing electric karting into competitive RMC (Rotax MAX Challenge) racing. The E10 Mini will now feature as a dedicated category in selected Rotax MAX Challenge championships and race events worldwide, where drivers can qualify for the RMC Grand Finals. The E10 category will debut on the international stage this year in PortimĂ£o, Portugal.Â

The Rotax MAX Challenge International Trophy Asia 2026 was successfully contested on January 20-25 in Macau, where more than 20 nations were represented throughout Australasia, Europe and other regions. In its premier appearance, the demanding 1,203-metre Coloane Kart Circuit provided the ideal venue for the high profile championship, resulting in the most competitive edition of the event to date. New winners were crowned in seven categories from as many countries and the first RMC Grand Finals 2026 tickets were awarded. Macau delivered both an historic and memorable week!Â
