We have been running the British Universities Karting Championship (BUKC) since 2001 so this year marks our 21st season! Over that time we estimate that we've introduced more than 12,000 students to 2-stroke kart racing through Club100.

Our first ever Academy day on March 26, 2022 for the new Cadet category along with new Junior drivers went extremely well with 80 Cadets (8 to 12 years) and 104 Juniors (13 to 18 years). They were divided into groups to run half in the morning and half in the afternoon.
Prior to the event we sent all the drivers and parents a video to watch which explained how the day will work, about the kart adjustments, ballast and seat inserts. This I'm sure helped.

The success story of Club100 in the UK continues to build momentuwith every season, having had a record number of drivers participating in 2021 in the increasingly popular ‘Arrive & Drive’ championships powered by Rotax 125 MAX engines. In addition to this, the British Universities Karting Championship (BUKC) celebrates 21 years and the new generation of Club100 drivers has just joined the ranks in the two cadet categories

Kart magazin editor Luca Köster had an exciting experience from April 22nd to 24th in Genk, Belgium. As part of the Rotax MAX Challenge Euro Trophy, the 24-year-old had the chance to sit behind the wheel of an electric kart for the first time. The active kart driver accepted the invitation of BRP-Rotax and competed in the Project E20 in the Senior category. He reports on his impressions of the racetrack, his opinion on the potential drive concept of the future and the pleasing end of his weekend in a personal background story.
